Divine Life Transforming Centre International (DLTC International) is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation that has existed for several years in practice but officially registered as an organisation in 2023.
The organisation focuses on the welfare and the rights of vulnerable women and children in Uganda.

Our Vision as a christian organisation is to overcome physical and spiritual poverty.

We apply a holistic and christian approach to Women and Children empowerment and development. We focus on helping the most vulnerable women, children, orphans and widows among others to reduce poverty and transform their lives using a Christian based approach.

WHAT WE DO

DLTC International  strives to work  with local partners for change.

We partner and work closely with local organisations to support the rights of vulnerable children and women. Because of  these partnerships, DLTC has developed programs aimed at highlighting and addressing challenges in education, health, personal development, and equality faced by children and young women in Uganda.

APPROACH

  • Workshops and seminars with community and faith based leaders addressing the issues faced by vulnerable women and children
  • Encourage and engage vulnerable women and children in the discussions for potential solutions as well as in order to share their experiences
  • Fundraising using different media platforms
  • Partnerships with local communities, institutions, churches, companies, NGOs etc.
  • Establishing startup/small scale businesses on behalf of the organisation to act as an income generator.
  • Education workshops that will act as learning platforms outside the school environment. These workshops complement the books and materials we provide, and together, create joy and laughter to our vulnerable children while consistently offering an educational value.

What are the benefits of these Educational workshops?

Children get the opportunity to meet other children, which directly contributes to their well-being, as they develop socio-emotional skills: among which include self-expression and self-confidence. From a social perspective it is proven that children also develop tolerance, collaboration and cooperation with other children.
